Thomas has a ham and cheese sandwich, pretzels, cucumbers and tomatoes and some grapes.

I have a turkey sandwich, cucumbers, pretzels and some grapes.

And finally, James' first school bento. He starts his two morning a week program tomorrow:-/ For him, I packed some halved grapes, oranges, halved tomatoes and star shaped cucumbers, a star shaped peanut butter sandwich and some pretzels. ~sniff, sniff~ I ordered James a lunch box from Pottery Barn. I have always used Laptop Lunches so I will let you know what I think of this one.

Grape Medley

Tomorrow Stella has oranges, cucumbers, tomatoes, turkey roll ups and a grape medley.

Thomas made it clear...he does not want roll ups, he wants a sandwich. My boy likes to eat! So for by Bub, a ham and cheese sandwich, cucumbers and tomatoes and grape medley.

I am trying to be better at packing my lunch and since I will have a longer day tomorrow, I am bringing a turkey sandwich, cucumbers, oranges and grapes.

First Day of 2nd Grade

And they are off....Tomorrow is the first day of 2nd grade! I am really looking forward to getting back into a school routine but I don't think any of us are ready for school to begin.

Tomorrow, Thomas and Stella have sandwiches, some blueberries and sliced pears, oranges and some pasta salad (whole wheat pasta, corn, broccoli, tomatoes and goat cheese mixed with a little ranch dressing and greek yogurt).

I definitely have the hang of packing lunches and this year I want to try to make them a bit more creative. I know I am not starting out with the most creative lunch, so we will see how I do with my goal;)

Buh Bye!

Just wanted to write a final post. School is over. O. V. E. R;) I now have two second graders and a toddler who will start a two morning a week program in the fall. I will be packing lunches this summer but I am not posting at all. I need to give myself a break.

Enjoy your summer and I can't wait to meet back here when school starts up again.

Home Stretch

I am in the final stretch for packing lunches!! I can not wait to have the summer 'off'. I want to regroup and try some new recipes that I think will be great for lunches next year.

On Tuesday, the twins had turkey sandwiches on a dinner roll, tomatoes, carrots, oranges and grapes.

On Wednesday, the twins had leftover pizza, celery sticks, oranges and watermelon.

On Thursday, the twins had oranges, blueberries, whole wheat pasta salad with spinach, tomatoes and feta cheese and some carrots.

And for tomorrow, the twins have watermelon, leftover sweet and sour chicken, oranges, a fortune cookie and some blueberries.
